The country is the largest producer of cashew in Africa.
Ivorian government is also loosing revenues, because the commodity is being smuggled out of the country.
In the wake of this development, the cotton and cashew nut Regulatory authority is sensitizing the public against smuggling, highlighting the serious effects smuggling is having on the country’s economy.
